At Shiftlink Agro, we understand that circumstances may change after placing an order. This cancellation policy outlines when and how you can cancel your orders, and the associated terms and conditions.

Due to the nature of agricultural products and the direct relationship with vendors, cancellation policies may vary depending on the product type, vendor, and order status.

2. When You Can Cancel Orders

2.1 Free Cancellation Period

Orders Eligible for Free Cancellation:

  • Orders placed within the last 2 hours (if not yet processed)
  • Orders with "Order Confirmed" status
  • Pre-orders for seasonal products
  • Orders where vendor hasn't started preparation
  • Subscription orders (before next billing cycle)

3. How to Cancel Your Order

3.1 Self-Service Cancellation

For eligible orders, you can cancel directly through your account:

Locate the order you want to cancel

4. Cancellation Fees

4.1 When Fees Apply

Cancellation Fees May Apply When:

  • Order is already being processed by vendor
  • Custom or made-to-order products
  • Perishable items that have been prepared
  • Bulk orders with special arrangements
  • Orders cancelled after the free cancellation period

4.2 Fee Structure

Standard Products (within 2 hours):Free
Standard Products (2-24 hours):5% of order value
Processing Stage:10-15% of order value
Custom/Made-to-Order:25-50% of order value
Perishable Items (prepared):50-100% of order value

Fee Calculation Example:

Order Value: $100 | Cancellation after 12 hours: $100 - (5% fee) = $95 refund

5. Product-Specific Cancellation Policies

5.1 Fresh Produce

  • Free cancellation within 1 hour of order placement
  • 50% fee if cancelled after vendor starts harvesting/preparation
  • No cancellation once shipped due to perishable nature
  • Seasonal items may have different policies

5.2 Packaged Goods

  • Free cancellation within 2 hours
  • 5% fee for cancellations within 24 hours
  • 10% fee once processing begins
  • No cancellation once shipped

5.3 Custom Orders

  • Free cancellation within 30 minutes
  • 25% fee if cancelled before production starts
  • 50% fee if cancelled during production
  • No cancellation once completed

5.4 Subscription Orders

  • Cancel anytime before next billing cycle
  • No fees for subscription cancellations
  • Individual shipments follow standard policies
  • Pause option available instead of cancellation

6. Refund Process After Cancellation

6.1 Refund Timeline

  • Free Cancellations:1-2 business days
  • Cancellations with Fees:3-5 business days
  • Complex Orders:5-7 business days

6.2 Refund Methods

  • Original payment method (credit card, debit card, etc.)
  • Store credit (faster processing, no fees deducted)
  • Bank transfer for large orders
  • Digital wallet refunds where applicable

6.3 Partial Cancellations

For orders with multiple items:

  • Individual items can be cancelled if not yet processed
  • Shipping costs may be recalculated
  • Minimum order requirements may apply
  • Bulk pricing may be affected

7. Special Circumstances

7.1 Vendor-Initiated Cancellations

Vendors may cancel orders due to:

  • Crop failure or quality issues
  • Inventory shortages
  • Weather-related problems
  • Transportation issues
  • Force majeure events

Full refund provided with no fees when vendor cancels

7.2 Emergency Cancellations

In case of emergencies, we may waive cancellation fees:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Natural disasters
  • Family emergencies
  • Financial hardship

Documentation may be required for emergency cancellation fee waivers.

7.3 Fraudulent Orders

  • Orders identified as fraudulent will be cancelled immediately
  • No fees charged for fraud-related cancellations
  • Account may be suspended pending investigation
  • Law enforcement may be contacted if necessary
